DIRECTOR
Before joining the world of voiceover, Kimberly spent 15 years in the international opera community as both a producer and director, making her directing debut with the second cast of L’Elisir d’Amore at the Houston Grand Opera at the oh-so-tender age of 26.
She then went on to a ten-year film career where she picked up several directing and writing awards for her short films Ménage à trois and Why We Wax, and produced several other award-winning independent feature films.
She’s directed authors narrating their own work, such as John Waters (yes, THAT John Waters), Mary L. Trump, PhD, Charlie Jane Anders, Imogen Binnie, Betty Gilpin, and Bonnie Wright; celebrities like Ellie Kemper, Kate Berlant, and Kate Mara; and industry leading narrators, like January LaVoy, Thérèse Plummer, Saskia Maarleveld, Hillary Huber, Marin Ireland, Kevin R. Free, and Natalie Naudus (to name but a few).
It pleases her to no end to bring her combined 25 years of producing and directing experience to help professional actor/narrators and self-narrating authors enrich their performances for audiobooks and guide them through the recording process.
